On 25 June 2008 the publication of the Sustainable Society Index-Romania-2008 has been launched in Bucharest. This index is developed by the Sustainable Society Foundation, Green Partners and VeraNatura, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, The National Environmental Protection Agency and the National Institute of Statistics.
